The high school students are BACK and there is once again laughter and commotion in the halls. What a relief! The summer months leave the school an empty shell - after all, what good is a school without it's students?
This morning as we drove into the parking lot, the first thing I noticed was our Superintendent standing on the curb, greeting and "pounding" students as he welcomed them back! Behind him were all of his teachers and staff cheering the students on into a wonderful new school year! It was so much fun to see their surprised faces and I think we even scared a few of them! :)
We are willing and ready for whatever God has in store for us this 2013-2014 school year! Our school theme is Philippians 1:27 - and we are STANDING FIRM TOGETHER!
"Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel."
This will be fun to follow you!
