A Year's Worth!

Facebook has an application that pops up called "A Year in Review" for your personal page, and you can look back over the entire 2013 year and be reminded of all the highlights and posts you made.

To me - the year has HARDLY BEGUN!  That is because I tend to view a "year" with the school year mindset instead of a calendar year. So for fun, I took a look back at my planner and notes to see all the things that God has had His hand over at Lincoln Christian over the past year. This doesn't even account for His blessings in the Music, Drama, Athletic and Art departments, this is a general overview.

January 2013PS Open House - so many prospective students, we need to look at a possible expansion. (50% of our 4 yr olds enrolled in our Kindergarten)

February 2013Launch #2 Video of a series of recruiting videos to put on website. (a huge hit, driving many prospective families to the website)

March 2013
Reenrollment time!  93% retention of our students (excellent) Students in the building shadowing is increased this year, God is doing the recruiting!

April 2013The Annual School Carnival - what a great opportunity for the LC family and the local community to be together in the school for fun, food and fellowship.  Thank you PTF for a very well attended and successful event.

May 2013Graduation is a time of reflection, praise to God and an excellent "Word of Mouth" event that allows the excellence of academics and the truth of a Christian education to come to fruition.

June-July 2013Summer Camps, Orientation and Relaxation!

August 2013School Starts!  Another year of 3 sections for Kindergarten - we're growing!

September 2013Final Enrollment numbers are in and show another increase for the 4th year in a row.

October 2013The Annual Grandparents Day, record high attendance and excellent weather for our grandparents and friends to get out in.

November 2013

The Annual Auction, which had banner attendance and donations.  Also the much needed addition of 12 Oak trees to "spruce" up our corner at 84th and Old Cheney.

December 2013Christmas Programs that allow us to focus on the reason Lincoln Christian even exists - a time to Celebrate His birth.

Looking back over the year makes my heart swell with thankfulness.  Lincoln Christian is His school, not ours.  We are so humbled to be a small part!
